Hearing Aid Dispensary How to Get Your Hearing Aid After the hearing test, the dispensing audiologist may recommend a hearing aid evaluation. Once you choose a hearing aid dispenser, call the dispenser to schedule an appointment. On the day of your appointment, bring the prescription sheet and ADP form to your dispenser. You will have impressions made of your ear(s) and the hearing aid(s) will be ordered. Two to three weeks later you will be able to pick up your new hearing aid(s). You will be taught how to use and take care of the hearing aids. Your 30 day trial period will start. You will be asked to return for a hearing aid recheck during your trial period.
