Pediatrician
A pediatrician is a doctor specializing in the health and disease of children and teenagers. Pediatricians are interested in everything children do including play, behaviour, toilet training, school progress, growth, nutrition, family, friends, and illnesses.
Children may be seen by one of the pediatricians in the Prism  Centre Medical Clinic following their assessment. The purpose of this visit is to see if there are any developmental concerns that may effect the treatment planning at the Prism Centre.
Your child may return to visit the pediatrician to monitor progress. General health care problems (i.e. colds, fevers) should be directed to your family doctor's office.

On Site Clinics
London's Thames Valley Children's Centre conduct on site augmentative communication visits for clients who are eligible for learning high technology communication skills.

Orthopedic Surgeon
An orthopedic surgeon is a doctor specializing in problems that involve bones, muscles, and joints. This means difficulty with the way your child's arms, legs and back appear, work or function or develop over time. Orthopedic surgeons, from the London Health Science Centre (formerly the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario), hold a clinic at the Prism Centre every four months.

Neurologist
A neurologist is a doctor specializing in problems that affect your child's brain, muscles and nerves. The pediatrician may ask the neurologist to assess your child's development, seizures, or problems using their muscles, arms or legs. The neurologists from the London Health Science Centre (formerly the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario), hold a clinic at the Prism Centre every three months.
